Initializing the interpreter consoles

After your interpretation configuration has been created and all options have been set, you first have to transmit the configuration to the central unit and then initialize the interpreter consoles.

To transmit the configuration to the central unit:

￿In the palette, click the “Send” button. The “SDC8200 S-IM” dialog box opens.

￿Click the “Yes” button.

All active interpreter consoles are deactivated and the “Sending” info boxappears.Theconfigurationdataaretransmitted tothecentralunit.

To initialize the interpreter consoles:

￿Click the “Reset” button.

The “Are you sure ?” dialog box opens.

￿Click the “Yes” button.

Your interpretation system is now ready for operation, if, compared with the previously transmitted and initialized configuration:

y only the languages assigned to the booths, the modes between or within booths or the options have been changed,

y the number of booths has not been changed,

y the number of consoles per booth has not been changed. The following operating steps are only nexcessary if:

y the number of booths and/or

y the number of consoles per booth has been changed.
