7 - VCR Plus+

NOTE
• If you haven’t set the clock, the Clock Settings menu will appear. You must set it before you can program
a VCR Plus+ Recording (see page 46).
VCR PLUS+ RECORDING

Follow these steps to program a VCR Plus+

recording. You will need a local TV listing

that includes VCR PlusCode numbers.

1 OPEN VCR PLUS+ MENU
Press the VCR Plus+ key (see note below).
2 ENTER VCR PLUSCODE NUMBER
Use the 0-9 keys to enter the 2- to 8-digit VCR
PlusCode number shown in your local television
programming guide.
• To correct your entry, press CLEAR.
• Press VCR Plus+ to continue.
3 SET VCR PLUS RECORDING OPTIONS
Press 1, 2, or 3 to set the following:
1 - How Ofen
1-Time – The event will be recorded once.
Mo-Fr – The event will be recorded Monday
through Friday.
Weekly – The event will be recorded once a
week.
Always – The event will be recorded every day.
2 - Record Speed
Auto – Activates Complete Program Record
to maximize high quality recording time for
the given tape length (see note on page 18).
SP – Standard Play. Use for best quality (a T-
120 tape will record for 2 hours).
SLP – Super Long Play. Use for maximum
recording time (a T-120 tape will record for 6
hours).
3 - Which Deck
Deck 1 – The event will be recorded in Deck 1.
Deck 2 – The event will be recorded in Deck 2.
4 VIEW EVENT SUMMARY
When you are satisfied with your VCR Plus+
recording options, press MENU to view a sum-
mary of the event and all other programmed
events. Press MENU again to exit the menu
system.
