		INSTALLING THE PRINTER DRIVER


	Installing onto Windows 2000
1		Make sure that the printer is connected to your computer.
2		Turn on the printer, and then turn on your computer.
		On this step, "Found New Hardware Wizard" window will appear.

		If this window does not appear, ensure to connect the printer and your computer.
		If the window does not appear while the printer and your computer is securely
		connected by USB cable, refer to "Failed to Install the Printer Driver (Windows
		2000)" in "Troubleshooting" of the online manual.

3	Click the "Cancel" button.
	Make sure to click the "Cancel" button. If you continue installation without clicking
	the "Cancel" button, you may not install the driver successfully.

4	Insert the supplied CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.
5	Double-click "My Computer" (	), and then double-click the CD-
	ROM ( ) icon.
6	Double-click the "SETUP" (	) icon.
7	Check if the appropriate language has been selected, and then
	click the "OK" button.

Normally, the correct language is selected automatically.
