INSTALLING THE PRINTER DRIVER

Installing onto Windows 2000

1Make sure that the printer is connected to your computer.

2Turn on the printer, and then turn on your computer.

On this step, "Found New Hardware Wizard" window will appear.

3Click the "Cancel" button.

4Insert the supplied CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.

5Double-click "My Computer" ( ), and then double-click the CD-

ROM ( ) icon.

6Double-click the "SETUP" ( ) icon.

7Check if the appropriate language has been selected, and then

click the "OK" button.

Normally, the correct language is selected automatically .

If this window does not appear, ensure to connect the printer a nd your computer.

If the window does not appear while the printer and your computer is securel y

connected by USB cable, refer to "Failed to Install the Printer Driver (Windows

2000)" in "Troubleshooting" of the online manual.

Make sure to click the "Cancel" button. If you continue installati on without clicking

the "Cancel" button, you may not install the driver suc cessfully.
