INSTALLING THE PRINTER DRIVER

Installing onto Windows Me (USB interface)

1Make sure that the printer is connected to your computer by

USB cable.

2Turn on the printer, and then turn on your computer.

"Add New Hardware Wizard" window will appear.

3Insert the supplied CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.

4Check the radio button for "Automatic search for a better driver

(recommended)", and then click the "Next" button.

5Click the "Finish" button.

"Add New Hardware Wizard" window will close. Now, you have completed to

install the USB port driver. Before long, "Add New Hardware Wi zard" window will

appear again.

If this window does not appear, ensure to connect the printer a nd your computer.

If the window does not appear while the printer and your computer is securel y

connected by USB cable, refer to "'Add New Hardware Wiza rd' does not appear

(USB interface)" in "Troubleshooting" of the online ma nual.
