Appendix 2: Firmware Update Tool

Galaxy H7920 Firmware Update Tool
Set up the PC IP address subnet same as the router that will be updated.
Copy the Router Update Tool to the PC and run it (Fig. 1):

Click “Browse” button to retrieve the .rom file (Fig. 2)

Input Router IP, factory default IP is 192.168.8.1; the Router IP could be the LAN IP or WAN IP address (WAN IP is the address assigned by service provider gateway; normally it is a dynamic address). Type the correct password (this is the password you access router configuration web interface; factory default is hongdian). Press “Connect” button (Fig. 3), and waiting few seconds. If dialogue info appears (Fig. 4), it means the connection failed. Otherwise, it is successfully connected.
