The following parameters must be set for each waste stream to be used:
WASTE STREAM PARAMETERS
Waste I.D.
Count Time
Count Display
MCA Data
Alarm Type
Alarm Message
Clean Message
Maximum Weight
Efficiency
Alarm Level
A detailed description of each parameter entry follows:
Waste I.D.:
This parameter provides a description of the waste stream. The operator may program up to 16
Count Time:
Scan time, in seconds. Enter a value between 1 and 50,000, or "0" for minimum count time. If minimum count time is selected, the system will automatically calculate the minimum time required to scan the item. The following are assumed for automatic scan time calculation:
bkg = background in counts/second
consig = confidence sigma (fixed at 1.65Õ or 95%) fasig = false alarm sigma (fixed at 2.33Õ or 1/100) alev = alarm level in cps/efficiency
efficiency = waste stream efficiency
