21.5 TAVOL function to set the volume for traffic announcements
The “TAVOL” function enables an adjustment of the volume of traffic announcements according to individual preferences.
To change the device’s volume for traffic announcements, press the control dial 
until menu level 2 is reached. The “LOC” function will appear. Press the control dial 
until you get to the menu item “TAVOL”. There you have the option of setting the device’s volume for traffic announcements by turning the dial. Turning to the right increases the volume for traffic announcements, turning to the left reduces the volume for traffic announcements. The volume for traffic announcements can be set between
The setting is saved either when the desired value is confirmed by pressing the control dial 
or through automatic memory (don’t change anything on the device for approx. five seconds). If you confirm the selection by pressing the control dial 
, you will reach the next possible setting. If you use the automatic memory, the device will return to the standard display.

During a traffic announcement, it’s possible to adjust the volume to the current requirements at any time through the control dial
