Getting Started

Connect the 4 weighing machines (one for each wheel of the hospi- tal bed) by the plugs to the distributor box. Check that they are arranged correctly according to the coloured marking.

Each cable is 6 m long.

When getting started care must be taken to ensure that the cable is not obstructed.

Connect the display unit to the mains.

Caution:

Before powering on the scale, position the weighing machines under the 4 wheels of the hospital bed. Position the weighing machines under the wheels right up to the limit stop.

The weighing machines are designed to take wheels with a diame- ter of 150 mm!

Power-on

The Soehnle Professional logo is displayed during the power-on routine which includes the offset and reference measurements.

The measuring points are briefly listed as they are detected. The scale is zeroed after the power-on routine

At power-on the last used application program is reactivated.

Zero range limits at power-on

Calibratable: zero range at power-on is -10% to +60% of the weighing range.

Non calibratable: zero range at power-on is -99% to +99% of the weighing range. If power-on is outside zero range, the scale shows an error message.

Once the cause of the underload or overload has been eliminated, the scale goes to zero without the need to power-on again and is operative.
