USB Power Supply

Set whether to use the USB power supplied function when the camcorder is connected to a computer or a USB device using the USB cable.

1. [Setup] [Connection] [USB Power Supply].

2.Select the desired item.

On

Power is supplied when connected using the USB cable.

Off

Disables USB power supplied function even if you connect the camcorder to a device such as a computer using a USB cable.

Notes

If you changed this setting while the USB cable was connected to the camcorder, disconnect the USB cable and connect it again.

The setting of [USB Power Supply] is effective only when the camcorder is connected to a USB device that is compatible with the 500 mA or more power supply standard.

Only the playback functions are available while the camcorder is connected to a USB device that is compatible with the 500 mA power supply standard.

To record files using the [USB Power Supply] function, use an AC-UD10 AC Adaptor (sold separately) with the battery pack attached to the camcorder.
