Power supply

You can use your camcorder in any countries/regions using the AC Adaptor (models with an AC Adaptor) supplied with your camcorder within the AC 100 V to 240 V, 50 Hz/60 Hz range.

Viewing high definition image quality (HD) movies

In countries/regions where high definition image quality (HD) broadcasts are supported, you can view recorded movies on a TV at the same high definition image quality (HD) as they were recorded with the camcorder.

To view images at the same high definition image quality (HD) as they were recorded with the camcorder, you need an HDMI cable and a high definition TV (or monitor) that supports the signal format for your camcorder and is equipped with an HDMI jack.

Viewing standard definition image quality (STD) movies

To view on a TV images recorded in standard image quality (STD) with your camcorder, you need to connect your camcorder using an AV cable to a TV (or monitor) that supports the signal format of your camcorder and is equipped with AUDIO/VIDEO input jacks.

On TV color systems

For signal formats supported by your camcorder, refer to “Model Information”.

To view images in your camcorder on TV, use a TV (or monitor) that supports the signal format of your camcorder.
