Installing the Backplane

Installing the Backplane into the Chassis

1.Ensure that all of the hard drive carriers have been removed from the bays in the front of the node (See 5-8 Installing and Removing Hard Drives).

2.Ease the backplane forward, against the front of the chassis.

3.Align the mounting holes in the backplane with the holes in the chassis. Re- place the four screws at the top of the backplane

4.Reconnect all cables and return the hard drive trays to their bays in the front of the node.
