Pre-installation tasks
The administrator can add new members to the Sybase Product Download Center account at any time.
bSelect the product for which to activate licenses.
cComplete the License Activation wizard to generate required licenses. The generated licenses are displayed when the wizard completes.
dClick Save All to save the license file. Make sure you have saved the license file with the extension .lic.
13Copy the license file in the licenses directory
$SYBASE/$SYBASE_SYSAM/licenses on the network license server machine.
14Start the SySAM network license server: a Go to:
$SYBASE/$SYBASE_SYSAM/bin b Enter:
sysam start
15Validate that the license daemon is running by entering:
sysam status
