Command:

Desription:

eventlog

The eventlog records all serious errors registered by the system. The log

 

can be used to identify the cause for errors. The complete eventlog can be downloaded

 

from the embedded FTP server.

 

 

eventlog [n/all]

 

 

 

 

Parameters

 

 

 

 

 

n: Lists the specified number of lines from the end of the eventlog.

 

 

 

 

all: List all entries in the eventlog

 

 

 

The eventlog will be deleted when the system is powered off.

 

 

 

 

 

 

dumph221

Dumps the H.221 log of the last call.

 

 

 

dumph221 [0..15/reset]

Parameters:

 

 

 

 

 

0..15: id referring to a video site.

 

 

 

 

reset: Resets the GW’s H.221 buffer. The buffer will now be filled up with

 

 

 

 

 

new H221 data.

 

 

 

 

 

 

isdntrace

Causes D-channel information (layer 2 and 3) for the specified ISDN lines to be

 

 

 

output to the interface that issued the command.

 

 

 

isdntrace [PRI interface] <on/off>

PRI interface: 1/2/3/4. Identifiers referring to the different PRI interfaces.

 

 

 

 

 

 

syslog

Note! When used for H.323 activity the command must be issued through Telnet.

ping

Standard ping command. Used to check if a unit on the network is

 

 

 

reachable.

traceroute

Standard traceroute command. Used to find out routing information to

 

 

 

specified IP address.
