If a PRI cable is disconnected or malfunctioning, or basic configuration is erroneous,

•Red Alarm is displayed in red for the affected interfaces.

•Sync alert is displayed in red for the affected interfaces.

If a participant has been disconnected, the cause code can be viewed by pressing the link next to the disconnected PRI channel.

The most common cause codes (for ISDN):

1Unallocated (unassigned) number

2No route to specified transit network (WAN)

16Normal call clearing

17User busy

18No user responding

21Call rejected

28Invalid number format (incomplete number)

29Facilities rejected

31Normal, unspecified

34No Circuit/Channel Available

41Temporary Failure

58Bearer Capability Not Presently Available

65Bearer Capability Not Implemented

69Requested Facility Not Implemented
