When both the main unit and the remote control have buttons with the same functions, this manual explains how to use either of them. The corresponding buttons can be used in the same manner.
aSTANDBY/ON button [¤]
Press this button to turn the unit on or put it in standby mode.
bNumber buttons
In CD/USB/SD mode, use these buttons to select a track/file number. For detailed information about selecting a track or file with the number buttons, see page 34.
In TUNER mode, use these buttons to select preset stations.
cCLEAR button
In CD/USB/SD mode, use this button to clear the track or file number you are entering.
dSearch buttons [m/,]
In CD/USB/SD/iPod mode, use these buttons to search for a point in a track, file or song.
In TUNER mode, press and hold either of the buttons to start
eSTOP button [8]
In CD/USB/SD mode, use this button to stop playback. To enter Bluetooth pairing mode, press and hold this button for at least 2 seconds.
ppThis button does not function in iPod mode.
fPLAY/PAUSE button [7/9]
In CD/USB/SD/iPod mode, use this button to start or pause playback.
