Operation
4.1 Introduction
Once the analyzer has been installed, it can be configured for your application. To do this you will:
∙Set system parameters.
∙Establish a security password, if desired, requiring the operator to log in.
∙Establish and start an automatic calibration cycle, if desired.
∙Calibrate the instrument.
∙Define the three user selectable analysis ranges, then choose autoranging or select a fixed range of analysis, as required.
∙Set alarm setpoints, and modes of alarm operation (latching, failsafe, etc).
Before you configure your 3000ZA, these default values are in effect:
Ranges: | R1 = 100 ppm, R2 = 1.00 %, R3 = 100 % |
| (although sensor maxes out around 95% O2). |
Auto Ranging: | ON |
Alarm Relays: | Active, 80.00 and 90.00 ppm, HI, Not failsafe, |
| Not latching. |
Zero: Auto, every 7 days at 12 hours, disabled. | |
Span: | Auto, every 7 days at 12 hours, disabled. |
Span values: | High sensor = 85%, Medium sensor = 2 %, and |
| Low sensor= 80 ppm. Span Timer 7 min. |
Password: | TAI |
If you choose not to use password protection, the default password is automatically displayed on the password screen when you start up and you have access to all functions of the analyzer.
