7.1 Recording a program

Oncerecording has started, a symbol like the left fig-
ure will be displayed on the top right of the screen
for a few seconds. When you are watching a ser-
vicedifferent from the service being recorded, you can view a
numberon the center of the symbol, which indicates the order
thatthe recording is started.
NOTE
When a recording is finished, it might not be saved if its
recordingduration is less than one minute.
7.1.1 Instantrecording
Toinstantly record the program you are watching at present,
press the button. Pressing the button pauses the
currentrecording. To resume recording press it again.
After a recording is started,
pressingthe displaysa box
likethe left figure, in which you
canset the recording duration.
Tospecify an arbitrary recordingduration, settheDuration op-
tionas you desire with the
V−and
V+buttonsand press the
OK button;the recording will end at the specified time.
