)Note:

1.In Range Extender mode, the wireless repeater relays signal between its stations and the root AP for greater wireless range. The MAC address of root AP can be automatically filled into corresponding box by clicking the Survey button and selecting the desired item.

2.If you know the MAC address of the desired AP, you can also input it into the field "MAC of AP" manually.

¾Region - Specifies the region where the wireless function of the AP can be used. Select your region from the drop-down list. If your country or region is not listed, please contact your local government agency for assistance.

The default region is United States. When you select your local region from the pull-down list, the dialog shown in Figure appears below. Click OK.

Restricted by local law regulations, version for North America does not have region selection option.

¾Channel Width - Determines the channel width to be used. It is unnecessary to change the default value unless required.

¾Max Tx Rate - Specifies the maximum transmit rate of the device through this field.

¾Enable Wireless Radio - Select or deselect this check box to allow or deny wireless stations to access the device.

Click the Survey button to detect the MAC address of the desired AP you want to connect to.

)Note:

To apply any settings you have altered on the page, please click the Save button, and then you will be reminded to reboot the device.
