3.12 – Supervisor/User Password Setting

Phoenix – AwardBIOS CMOS Setup Utility

► Standard CMOS Features			► Frequency/Voltage Control
► Advanced BIOS Features				Load Fail-Safe Defaults
► Advanced Chipset Features				Load Optimized Defaults
► Integrated Peripherals
				Set Supervisor Password
► Power Management	Setup			Set User	Password

	Enter Password:				Setup
► PnP/PCI Configurations
► PC Health Status				Exit Without	Saving


Esc: Quit				↑ ↓ ← →: Select Item
		F10: Save & Exit Setup

Change/Set/Disable Password

You can set either a supervisor or a user password, or both of them. The differences are:

Set Supervisor Password: can enter and change the options of the setup menus.

Set User Password: Can enter but does not have permission to change any options.

When you select this function, the following message will appear at the center of the screen to assist you in creating a password.
