Using the answering machine (continued)

Remote room monitor

You can call your answering system from any touch-tone phone and monitor sounds in the room where your base unit is installed.

1 Call your telephone number.

2 During the outgoing message playback, press # followed by your PIN code. 3 The answering system begins announcing the time and day stamp.

4 Press # then* while the system announces the time and day stamp.

You hear sounds in the room where your phone is installed. After 15 seconds, the answering system returns to the command waiting mode.

5 Press # then* to monitor the room for another 15 seconds. Or select another remote function. Or hang up to exit the system. The answering system automati- cally returns to standby.
