NOTES

By default, your handset’s Bluetooth® functio nality is turned off.

From idle mode, you can toggle Bluetooth® power on or of f

by pressing the Directional Key & right and pressing 

Bluetooth on/ off.

Add New Devices

“Pairing” is the process that allows the handset to locate, e stablish,

and register a 1-to-1 connection with the target device.

To pair the handset with a new Bluetooth® device:

1. From idle mode, press the Center S elect Key [MENU], select

Settings & Tools, then press the Center S elect Key [OK].

2. Press  Bluetooth.

3. Press  Add New Devices.

NOTE

If the Bluetooth® power is switched off, the following m essage will

appear on the main display: Turn Bluetooth powe r on?

Press the Center Select Key [OK] to select Yes. B LUETOOTH

POWER ON will appear on the display.

4. The handset will prompt you with the following mess age on the

main display: PLACE DEVICE YOU ARE CON NECTING TO IN

DISCOVERABLE MODE . Press the Center Select Key [OK].

5. The device will appear in the ADD NEW DE VICE menu. Select

the device you wish to pair with, then press the Center Sel ect Key

[PAIR].

6. The handset may prompt you for the passkey. Consult the

Bluetooth® accessory instructio ns for the appropriate passkey

(typically “0000”— 4 zeroes). Enter the passkey, then press the

Center Select Key [OK].
