SETTINGS & TOOLS

3. Press  Reset ([UP], [LEFT] or [ DOWN]) Key, or  Reset

Directional Keys.

4. Select Yes, then press the Center Select Key [OK].

Set Side Keys

You can specify the function that is accessed when you pres s the

Bottom Side Key  and the Top Side Key/PTT Key  from

idle mode.

1. From idle mode, press the Center S elect Key [MENU], select

Settings & Tools, then press the Center S elect Key [OK]. Press

 Phone Settings,  Set S hortcuts,  Set Side Keys.

2. Select Bottom Side Key or Top Side Key, then pres s the Center

Select Key [SET].

3. Select a function, then press the Center Sel ect Key [SET].

NOTES

When the function that is not available with the flip clos ed is

selected for Set Side Keys, that function will be activated whe n

the flip is opened after the Side Key is pressed.

When PTT mode is ON, the Top Side Key submenu do es not

appear, and nothing can be changed.

Resetting the Side Key Set tings

Use the following procedure to specify the default side key set tings.

1. From idle mode, press the Center S elect Key [MENU], select

Settings & Tools, then press the Center S elect Key [OK]. Press

 Phone Settings,  Set S hortcuts,  Set Side Keys.

2. Select Bottom Side Key or Top Side Key, then pres s the Right

Soft Key [Options].

3. Press  Reset ([Bottom Side ] or [Top Side]) Key, or 

Reset Side Keys.

4. Select Yes, then press the Center Select Key [OK].
