carriers identify an E911 caller’s location within 50 meter s of the actual
location for 67 percent of calls and within 150 meters of the act ual
location for 95 percent of calls.
Casio G’zOne Rock™’s ALI Capabilit y
The Rock™ is an ALI-capable phone equip ped with a GPS (Global
Positioning System) receiver supporting a satellite- based GPS ALI-
capable network to comply with the FCC ’s ALI requirements.
The network compliance with the above FC C requirements is
dependent on: (a) the use of digital technology by the wireless
network; (b) GPS satellite signals being able to reach the handse t
(such transmissions do not always work indoors, for example); and (c)
handset signals reaching wireless “base stations” (atmospheric and
environmental conditions may cause variations in ha ndset receiving
signal strength).
Also the transmission of the ALI informati on is subject, in part, to
system constraints within the wireless network to w hich the E911
signal is transmitted and over which PCD has no co ntrol.
Finally, customers are advised that the Rock™’s ALI capabilit y is to be
used for E911 purposes only.
911 in Lock Mode
The “911” call service is available even in the lock mode.
1. Enter “911” then press the Send Key.
2. The call connects.
3. The phone exits the Lock Mode for 5 minutes.
4. To exit emergency mode, press the End/Power Key.

1. Enter “911” then press the Send Key.
