NOTES
The Auto w/Handsfree Mode will function after about five seconds.
When the handset is closed, the Auto w/Handsf ree Mode will not
function, except when connected to a headset.
When the handset is open, the Auto w/Handsfre e Mode will only
function when the Speakerphone is on.
Flip Open and Any Key are the default settings.

Auto Retry
To set the length of time the handset waits before automatically
redialing a number when the attempted call fails:
1. From idle mode, press the Center S elect Key [MENU], select
Settings & Tools, then press the Center S elect Key [OK]. Press
Call Settings, Auto Ret ry.
2. Select the following settings, then press the C enter Select Key
[SET].

TTY Mode
You can attach a TTY device to your handset enabli ng you to
communicate with other parties using a T TY device.
A phone with TTY support is a ble to translate typed characters to
voice. Voice can also be translated into characters and then displayed
on the TTY.
1. From idle mode, press the Center S elect Key [MENU], select
Settings & Tools, then press the Center S elect Key [OK]. Press
Call Settings, TT Y Mode.
2. A warning message “Enabling TTY w ill disable headset audio.”
appears on the display. Press the Center Select Key [OK].
3. Select one of the following settings, then pre ss the Center Select
Key [SET].
