■ Camera tampering detection

This option allows the Network Camera to trigger when the camera detects that it is being tampered with. To enable this function, you need to configure the Tampering Detection option first. Please refer to page 108 for detailed information.

■ Manual Trigger

This option allows user to enable event triggers manually by clicking the on/off button on the homepage. Please configure 1 to 3 events before using this function.

3. Action

Define the actions to be performed by the Network Camera when a trigger is activated.

■ Trigger digital output for seconds

Select this option to turn on the external digital output device when a trigger is activated. Specify the length of the trigger interval in the text box.

■ Backup media if the network is disconnected

Select this option to backup media files to the onboard SD card if the network is disconnected. Please note that this function will only apply after you configure a recording media that is connected over the network connection (e.g., NAS, email, or an HTTP server). For more information about how to set up networked storage, please refer to page 111.

■ Move to preset location:

If you have configured preset locations and with the ability to move the camera view to a preset location (e.g., by PTZ scanner), your can order the camera view to move to it on the occurrence of an
