• Connect the power
and telephone
line cords to the
underside of the
base as illustrated.
• Plug the AC
adaptor into an
electrical outlet. If
the battery has not
been charged,
place the handset
in the base or
charger, and allow
it to charge for at
least 16 hours.
• Caution: Use only
the VTech power
supply provided
with your phone.
Connect power to base unit/chargers
1. Plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet not controlled by a wall switch, and the
connector into the bottom of th e base unit.
2. Choose th e location for your charger, and plug its power supply into an electrical
outlet.

Connect to phone line
Plug one end of the telephone line cord i nto the telephone line jack at the bottom of the telephone
base. Then plug the other end of the cor d into the wall telephone outlet.
