Register a handset

When rst purchased, all accessory handset s show NOT REGISTERED
on the screen. To register a handset:
1. Place the ha ndset in a telep hone base or c harger that is c onnected
to a power outlet. If PRESS FIND HNDST 4 SEC ON BASE does not
appear on the screen after a few seconds, lift up handset and place
in base or charger again.
Four
seconds later:
2. On the telephone base:
• Press and hold FIND HAND SET for four seconds.
• Release FIND HANDS ET once the IN USE light comes o n.
The mi688 9 comes with four registered h andset (named Ha ndset 1, 2, 3, 4).
Additional han dsets (mi6807) are available from your local aut horized dealers or fro m our website
at www.vtec hphones.co m in the US, or www.vte chcanada. com in Canada.
Up to four extensio n handsets can be regis tered with the same tel ephone base, and two c an be in
operation at the same time. Each additional handset purchased will have to be registered separately
following th e instruction w hich comes wit h the optional h andset.

is not successful
lift all handsets
out of the
telephone base
or charger and
place them
back in the
telephone base
or charger. Try
