Problem Suggestion
I lost a handset and
just bought a new one.
How do I register the
new one ?
• Press and h old FIND HANDSET on the mai n telephone base for 10 seconds.
• When the IN USE light starts to ash, rele ase the FIND HANDSET but ton.
• Press and release FIND HAN DSET again. The IN USE light will turn off and in a few seconds,
all handsets will be de-re gistered.
• All hand sets will show NOT REGISTER ED.
• Place the handset in its charger (connected to a power outlet.) If PRESS FIND HNDST 4 SECS
ON BASE does not appear on the screen after a few seconds, lift up handset and place in the
charger again.
• On the ma in telephone base,
• Press and hold FIND HAND SET key for four seconds.
• Release FIND HANDS ET key when IN USE light is on.
• The LCD scre en on the telephone base will show, HS REG ISTERED.
• The hand set will show HS REGISTERE D and beep once.
After about 10 seconds the handset will emit a tone and the handset will be assig ned the lowest
extension number not previously assigne d to another system han dset (1-4) when successfull y
registered. Repeat steps 1 and 2 if h andset is not registered within two m inutes.
