Basic operation
Handset operation
• To end the call, pres s INT or OFF on either handset, or plac e the
handset back in its telephon e base.
If the called handset is out of range or on an external call, when paged,
the display of the calling hand set will show:
Call forward
An external call can be for warded or transferred from one
handset to another.
• If you are on an external call (HS1), you can forward the call to
another handset (HS2) by pressing and holding INT. HS1 will show
FORWARD TO and you should input the numbe r of the desired
handset.
• HS2 will show INCOMI NG CALL and start ringing
• Press on the HS2 to answer.
If the forwarded call is not answered within 30 second s, the external
call will be returned to HS1 and the display w ill show CALL BACK,
and ring for 30 seconds. If the r eturned call is not answered within 30
seconds, the external ca ll will end automatically.

Call transfer
• While on an external call, a han dset (HS1) can transfer the call to another system handset (HS2)
by pressing INT. The external call is pu t on hold automatically.
• Select the destinati on handset number (1-4).
• HS1 shows CALLING HANDS ET 2 (HS2).
• HS2 can p ick up the transfer red ca ll whe n it rings and the s creen shows H ANDSET 1 I S
CALLING.
