2. Press CHAN GE to conrm the current status; On or Off is also
displayed on the message wind ow.
3. Press CHANGE again to ch ange the setting.
4. Press SETUP to save and advance to the next menu option or press
PLAY/STOP / to save and exit.
When the message alert f unction is turned on, the base bee ps every
10 seconds, and PLAY/STOP / and the number of messag es in
the message window ash wh en there are new messages. If
PLAY/STOP / and th e number in the message window are on
steadily, there are no new messages.
Announcement only mode
In an nouncemen t only mode, calle rs hea r an announc ement but
cannot leave messages. When announcement only is turned on, calls
are a nswered with t he pre- recorded announce ment “We’re sorry.
Messages to this number cannot be acc epted” or the customized
message.
Turn the announcement only mode on or off
• Press SETUP four t imes, the system announc es “Announcement
only. R ecor d no mess ages . To c hang e the set ting , press
CHANGE.”
• Press CHANGE until you hear the d esired option (on or off).
• Press PLAY/STOP / to save and exit.
