Set the remote access code
1. Press SETUP twice and you will hear “ Remote ac cess co de. To change t he settin g, press
change.”
2. Because the remote acces s code was set to 19 at the factory, press CHANGE and you will hear
the default code “19.”
3. Press CHANGE to ad vance the remote access co de number by one. Press and hold CHANGE
to advance the remote access c ode by increments of 10.
4. When the desired number is he ard. Press SETUP to save and advance to the nex t menu option
or press PLAY/STOP / to save and exit.
Remote answering system operation
1. From any touch tone telephone, di al your telephone number.
2. While the outgoing annou ncement is playing, enter your two- digit remote access code.
3. Hang up to end the call and save all u ndeleted messages.
If you pause for more than 10 second s during remote acce ss, you will hear a help menu listing all
features and co mmands. If no command is entere d for the follow ing 20 seconds , the call wi ll end
automatically.
