4.1 Before you begin.....

Before you proceed to the following sections, please make sure that the following settings on the PrintServer have been made:

-Enable NetWare

-Enable IPX/SPX

-Set Frametype

These settings can be set by using one of the following configuration tools:

TELNET	(see chapter 3)
PSInst32	(see chapter 3)
Web browser	(see chapter 3)
Configuration file	(see chapter 3 and Appendix A)

The following sections provide instructions for setup of the IPX/SPX protocol for the embedded PSERVER and the embedded NPRINTER via the standard NetWare tools PCONSOLE or NetWare Administrator.

4.2 Using the embedded PSERVER

To set up the embedded PSERVER, select either TELNET or the configuration file as a configuration tool.

The physical location of the embedded PSERVER (EPS) is the Xerox 4500 PS TR.

4.2.1 Embedded PSERVER setup

To use the embedded PSERVER in the Xerox 4500 PS TR it must be defined in the Novell NetWare system and the definitions here must match the settings made for the PSERVER in the configuration file or set via the TELNET.
