If you want to connect to an ad hoc network only, you can click the radio button of
“Computer-to-computer (ad hoc) networks only”. Click the radio button of “Access point (infrastructure) networks only”, and only the available access points in range will be displayed in the available networks box. You can click the radio button of “Any available network (access point preferred)”, and then both access points and wireless network adapters will be displayed in the available networks box.
