Using the Expression Peda l
HINT
• The available range set ting depends on the
parameter selected in step 4.
• It is also possible to set "m in" to a higher
value than "MAX". In that ca se, the parameter
value will be minimum when the peda l is fully
depressed and maximum when th e pedal is
fully raised.

When you turn parameter knob 4, the display

Parameter knob 4
The expression pedal has a switch that is
triggered when the pedal is pushed a bit further
in the vertical direction, after the fu lly down
position is reached. The module to which the
selected parameter belongs will be switched on
or off.
If you select "Disable" by turning parameter
knob 4, module on/off switching will not be
available.
HINT
• When "Volume" is the control t arget and
"Enable" is selected, the volume ped al
function can be switched on an d off. The effect
of on/off switching can be verifi ed by checking
the status of the [VOLUME PEDAL] LED to
the left of the expression pedal.
• It is also possible to use the p edal normally
for volume control and to switch a mod ule
on and off by pushing the pedal f ully down.
To achieve this, set the volume pedal on/of f
status, and the control target mo dule on/off
status to the opposite conditi on (→ p. 33).
