How To Start A Cold Engine
1.Be sure auger drive and traction drive levers are in the disengaged (RELEASED) position.
2.Push the stop switch to the ON position (see Figure 16).
3.Push in the safety key.
4.Rotate the choke knob to the CHOKE position.
5.(Electric Start) Plug the power cord into the starter motor on the en-
gine. Plug the other end of power cord into a

6.Push the primer button as speci-
fied below. Remove finger from primer button between pushes.
•Push two times if temperature is 15 ° F
•Push four times if temperature is below 15 ° F
7.(Electric Start) Push down on the starter button until the engine starts.
