ÊRelease the socket lever by pressing it sideways and pull it upward as far as it will go (1).

ÊOpen the cover (2).

ÊLift the installed processor carefully out of the socket (3).

ÊPosition the new processor over the socket and then place it carefully into the socket (1).

VCAUTION!

The processor can only be installed in one particular direction. Note the marking on one of the corners. To avoid damaging the processor, do not force it into the socket.

ÊClose the cover (2).

ÊLock the processor in place in the socket by returning the socket lever to its original position (3).
