a. Connect the power cord to the AC power source.
b. Press and hold the Enter button while you connect the power cord to the switcher.
c. Observe that the Input, Output, Preset, View, and Esc LEDs all flash.
d. Release the Enter button.
12. Ensure that the switcher is working properly.
13.If the switcher was removed from a rack, remove its power cord, reattach the switcher to the rack, and reconnect the power cord.
14. Reconnect the input and output cables.
Replacing the AC fuse
The AC fuse on the power supply board is a

5.Reinstall the switcher’s cover. See Closing the switcher on page
If you choose to check the switcher for proper operation before putting the cover back on, ensure that tools and hands are outside the switcher, and then connect the power cord to the unit and to an AC source. The switcher should power up normally. Unplug the AC power cord, and reinstall the switcher.
6.Attach the power cord to the switcher and to the AC power source. Make sure the switcher is working properly.
7.If the switcher was removed from a rack, remove its power cord, reattach the switcher to the rack, and reconnect the power cord.

Setting the front panel jumper
If the front panel jumpers are set incorrectly (for example, if the matrix configuration was changed and the jumpers were not updated), when the switcher is powered up, it locks up and will not operate. If the switcher is connected to a PC or control system, it reports Invalid Jumpers via the
