About this Manual
This manual contains installation, configuration, and operating information for the Extron CrossPoint 300 Wideband RGBHV Analog Matrix Awitchers.
About the Matrix Switchers
Matrix switchers distribute any input signal to any combination of outputs. The matrix switchers can route multiple input/output configurations simultaneously.
The matrix switchers are single box solutions to complex wideband video and/or audio routing applications (figure
The matrix switchers are available in a variety of matrix sizes (the matrix size is the number of inputs and outputs):
•CrossPoint 300 84 (8 inputs by 4 outputs)
•CrossPoint 300 88 (8 inputs by 8 outputs)
•CrossPoint 300 816 (8 inputs by 16 outputs)
•CrossPoint 300 124 (12 inputs by 4 outputs)
•CrossPoint 300 128 (12 inputs by 8 outputs)
•CrossPoint 300 168 (16 inputs by 8 outputs)
•CrossPoint 300 1212 (12 inputs by 12 outputs)
•CrossPoint 300 1616 (16 inputs by 16 outputs)
CrossPoint 300 series switchers offer two models of each matrix size: HV for switching RGBHV video signals only, and HVA models for switching RGBHV video and
The CrossPoint 300 Series switchers have a video bandwidth of 300 MHz
All HVA models input and output audio on 3.5 mm,
Each matrix switcher can be remotely controlled via either its rear panel
Either serial port can be connected to a control system, a PC, or the Extron
MKP 2000 or MKP 3000 remote control keypads.
