Monitoring SES elements

Enclosures which provide SES information are listed in the Enclosure Status section of the Health and Status Monitor (see Exhibit 3) and through the Enclosure Services arrow on the Manage menu.

Use the Health and Status Monitor

1If you are not already in the ExpressNAV Storage Manager, type the IP address of your appliance in a standard browser. On the splash

screen, click Enter Here. In the box provided, type in your user name and password, and click

OK.

2The Health and Status Monitor page appears (see Exhibit 6.3-3). In the Enclosure Status section, click on Details.

3The SES Monitor page appears (see Exhibit 6.3-4).
