4.4.2.7 ETH-IPoE

If your ISP provides an IPoE connection and you want to use an ETH Interface, follow the steps below to add a WAN service over a selected ETH interface:

1.Add a new ETH interface on the screen of 4.4.1.2 ETH interfaces.

2.Click the Add button on the screen Figure 4-8and the next configuration is similar to IPoE over ATM interface (see section 4.4.2.2 ATM-EoA-IPoE). The difference is that you have to set the 802.1P Priority and 802.1Q VLAN ID on the screen of Figure 4-20(corresponding screen see Figure 4-10).

4.4.2.8 ETH-Bridge

If you want to adopt the Bridge service and you need to use an ETH Interface, follow the steps below to add a WAN service over a selected ETH interface:

1.Add a new ETH interface on the screen of 4.4.1.2 ETH interfaces.

2.Click the Add button on the screen Figure 4-8and the next configuration is similar to Bridge over ATM interface (see section 4.4.2.3 ATM-EoA-Bridge). The difference is that you have to set the 802.1P Priority and 802.1Q VLAN ID on the screen of Figure 4-20(corresponding screen see Figure 4-10).

The Bridge option only display on the screen of Figure 4-20when VLAN MUX Mode is selected for Connection Mode on the screen of Figure 4-6.

4.4.3 LAN

Choose “Advanced Setup”Æ“LAN”, and you will see the LAN screen (shown in Figure 4-21),the section allows you to configure the Router’s LAN ports settings.
