Use this window to manually select the video clips to upload and their destination bin on the MA server. In addition, MANUAL UPLOAD provides the ability to add, change, or delete video clip metadata.

1.Locate the video clips to upload using the your local files directory tree.

2.Drag and drop the files into the area under the Content and Metadata Tools, to the right of the directory tree.

The cursor indicates where to drop file.

If there are video clips in other folders, drag and drop them into the upload area.

If there is metadata associated with a video clip it appears in the row to the right of the video clip filename.

Dragging and Dropping P2 Files

To load a single P2 file, drag the video clip’s XML file into the open area under the Content and Metadata Tools.

P2 content can also be added by dragging the entire root directory for the P2 clips into the upload area under the Content and Metadata Tools. The MA automatically finds and loads all the clips.

Dragging and Dropping XDCAM Files

To load a single XDCAM file, drag the video clip’s XML file into the open area under the Content and Metadata Tools.

To load an entire XDCAM card, drag the entire BPAV directory into the upload area under the Content and Metadata Tools. The MA automatically finds and loads all the clips.

When the utility uploads the P2 or XDCAM XML file(s) the associated video clip(s) also upload.
