If MA Server Login Fails

If, when logging on to the MA server through a Web browser, the login fails, determine if the ProxSys Dongle is in the right USB-Port. If the dongle is in the correct port, then the dongle activation by the VMware host may be missing.

Virtual Machine Must Be Running for the Following Procedure

The virtual machine must be running before implementing the procedure below. If the VMware GUI window is inactive, use the key-combination CTRL+ALT to un-block the window. Next, click on it with the mouse: VMware’s Release Cursor Function.

To activate the MA server’s dongle:

1.Open the VMware Server Console.

Click on the VMware icon on the server’s desktop.

2.Select Choose Local host.

3.Activate the ProxSys MA Server Dongle.

In the illustration, the dongle is the Aladdin Knowledge System USB device in port 1.
