Using the Pen Computer for the First Time

SECTION 2

BCAUTION:

Do not place the floppy disk drive unit on its side or upside

 

down.

BCAUTION:

Do not press on the floppy disk drive unit; it may damage the

 

drive or cause malfunction.

BCAUTION:

Do not place the AC adapter on top of the floppy disk drive

 

unit; it may cause the drive to malfunction.

 

1.

Turn off the computer.

 

2.

Open the cover of the external floppy disk drive/port

 

 

expander cover on the right side of the 6642.

 

3.

Connect the connector of the floppy disk drive unit to

 

 

the 6642.

Drive/Port Expander

1.Remove the floppy disk from the floppy disk drive.

2.Turn off the computer.

3.Disconnect the floppy disk drive unit by simultaneous9 ly pressing the buttons on each side of the connector and pulling them out. See figure 2-5.

4.Close the cover of the floppy disk drive/port expander.
