Formatting a Floppy Disk

"NOTE:Formatting a floppy destroys all current data on the disk

1.Check to make sure the floppy is not write-protected.

2.Double-tap on My Computer on the Windows desktop.

3.From the capacity drop-down list, select 1.44MB or 720KB.

4.Tap Start to start formatting.

"NOTE:Intermec Technologies recommends that you regularly back up the data on your hard disk drive. Windows operating system has a back- up function you can use to back up your data. See the online Help for details.
