Paper Feed Direction

Print Area

[Caution]

• When STANDARD MODE is selected, this command only

 

executes the internal flagging of the printer without affecting

 

the printing in STANDARD MODE.

 

• The character mapping position will be the start point of the

 

print area specified by ESC W.

 

• The basic calculation pitch (x or y) used by the following

 

commands varies with the start point.

 

(1) If the start point is the top left or bottom right (The

 

characters are mapped in the direction perpendicular to

 

the paper feed),

 

• Commands using x: ESC SP, ESC S, ESC \

 

• Commands using y: ESC 3, ESC J, GS $, GS \

 

(2) If the start point is the top right or bottom left (The

 

characters are mapped in the paper feed direction),

 

• Commands using x: ESC 3, ESC J, GS $, GS \

 

• Commands using y: ESC SP, ESC S, ESC \
