SQUELCH Control
Adjust this control to set the scan threshold and to eliminate the background rushing noise heard in the absence of an incoming signal. See the Operation Overview Section for adjustment procedures.
VOLUME off, and to adjust the volume.
Control
VFO Control Use this control to select channels in Manual mode, select the band for Band Search, and select frequencies in Band/Limit Search mode. You can also use this to program Alpha Name characters and CTCSS/CDCSS Data.
