Chapter 3: Basic Operations - Operate Mode (ADCC0200 and ADCC0300)
This chapter describes basic keyboard operations such as calling cameras to view on monitors, running tours, patterns, presets, macros and salvos. It also explains menu navigation and camera functions such as how to pan, tilt and zoom cameras, and how to control lens functions. In addition, procedures are provided for acknowledging alarms and controlling the various VCR functions.
User Numbers and Passcodes
Depending on the setup of the switching system being used, an operator may have to enter a user code and passcode on the keyboard in order to gain system access. If a user code is required, the word "USERCODE" appear on the LCD to prompt the operator. After entering the appropriate user code, the operator is prompted by the word "PASSCODE" on the display. After entering the appropriate passcode, the operator has system access.
Logging On to the System
To log on to the system:
1.Enter your user code (assigned by the system administrator) on the numeric keypad.
2.Press the ENTER key
The system prompts for the user passcode by displaying "PASSCODE" on the LCD display.
3.Enter the assigned passcode (maximum of six digits) on the numeric keypad.
If an incorrect passcode is entered, press the CLEAR () key, and then repeat step 3.
4.Press the ENTER key.
If the passcode is accepted, the LCD display will be similar to that shown below. This confirms that the keyboard is communicating with the system, and that a monitor can be called to the keyboard.

Logging Off from the System
When a user shift is completed, it is advisable to log off from the switching system to insure system security.
To log off from the system:
1.Enter 99 using the numeric keypad and press the F1 () key.
