Keyboard Installation and Operation

Matrix Menu

The keyboard is able to view the main menu of the switching matrix system being used.

To enter matrix menu mode:

1.Hold down the SHIFT () key and press the MENU () key. This will open the main menu for the switching matrix system on the currently selected monitor.

Using the ADCC0300 keyboard, the following functions are available:

Joystick UP - moves cursor up one character

Joystick DOWN - moves cursor down one character

Joystick LEFT - moves cursor left one character

Joystick RIGHT - moves cursor right one character

SHIFT key + Joystick UP - displays prior menu page up

SHIFT key + Joystick DOWN - displays next menu page down

SHIFT key + Joystick LEFT - displays the menu page to the left

SHIFT key + Joystick RIGHT - displays the menu page to the right

ENTER key - stores entered menu data

SHIFT key + CLEAR () key - exits the current screen and returns to the previously displayed screen

Several American Dynamics switching systems provide menu programming for a variety of functions. Camera groups, system tours, system salvos, alarm contact tables, monitor arming, and event timers are among the variables that may be defined through menu programming.
