Once installed, the critical point of the thermocouple

MUST make direct contact with the roll as shown in

Figure 4-2.

CAUTION

Firmly hold the thermocouple where the “guitar

pick” sensor is riveted to the aluminum base while bending. You can break the sensor off the base if you do not provide this added support.

5.Replace the thermocouple and tighten the screws.

6.Repeat the procedure for the other thermocouple.
