Unplug the printer from the wall outlet and call the Customer Care Center (see page 1-4) if any of the following conditions exist:

The power cord or plug is damaged or frayed.

Liquid is spilled into the printer, or if the printer is exposed to rain or water.

Smoke, unusual noises, or odors come from the printer.

The printer has been dropped or the enclosure has been damaged.

The printer does not operate normally when you have followed the operating instructions. Adjust only those controls that are covered by the operating instructions in the Quick Start Guide and this User’s Manual. Improper adjustment of other controls may result in damage and may require extensive work by a qualified technician to restore the product to normal operation.
